The Event

Adult field day, corporate edition.

Companies put on their colors, step away from the office, and compete across athletic, recreational, and team-building events. There are events for your most competitive employees, and events where simply showing up earns your team points. Everyone plays.

Why Columbia

Not across a conference table. On the field.

After bringing thousands of employees together in Birmingham and Chattanooga, we saw that the Midlands had everything that makes this work: a strong corporate community, a competitive streak, and a city that knows how to show up for one another.

Our goal is simple — build an annual Columbia tradition the entire business community can call its own.

The Collegiate Challenge

A job fair, except nobody's standing behind a table.

USC students rank the industries they want to work in, and get placed on a Rookie squad paired with a real company. On the evening of April 15, those Rookie teams go head to head in tug of war, dodgeball, and a relay station.

So the students on your Rookie squad already want to work in your field. You get an evening with them — no booth, no résumé stack, no interview voice.

Your only job is to show up and cheer.

How students are matched
By industry interestStudents rank the fields they want to work in, then join a Rookie squad paired with a real company — 15 students each.
What they compete in
Three eventsTug of war, dodgeball, and a relay station, Rookie team against Rookie team, on the evening of April 15.
What your company does
Come out and mingleCheer your Rookie squad on and spend the evening with them and the rest of the students. That's the whole ask.

How to Join

Three steps, and one of them is ours.

Register your company

One employee completes the registration form and handles the company fee.

Name 1–3 team captains

Usually HR, culture committee, or whoever in the office loves making things happen.

We handle the rest

Save the Date graphics, internal resources, and employee registration — on us, not you.

Virtual kickoff call January 14 — captains walk through the employee registration portal and the competition schedule with our team.
